Lucy graduated from Hartpury University in 2018 with a BSc (hons) in Sports Therapy and is now a full member of the society of sports therapists.
Throughout university Lucy gained experience with a variety of sports teams including Swindon college old boys rugby club, Dorset and Wilts rugby, Oxford City Stars ice hockey, university taekwondo, Avon 7’s rugby tournament 2017, Trowbridge RFC and within the university clinic. As well as working within these sports teams Lucy has gained massage experience working for Well Child; a charity for sick children at the 2018 London marathon and Cheltenham half marathon 2017.
Prior to university Lucy gained experience within the NHS physiotherapy outpatients chronic back pain class and total knee replacement classes (2015) and Bristol rovers youth academy U14’s (2012).
Lucy’s sport interests are mostly in rugby, dance and martial arts, after being part of a jujitsu and dance club for several years. Lucy is soon looking forward completing the moon walk marathon in 2020 and taking part in RuNvemeber again this November.
Whilst sports injuries are somewhat common, Lucy understands injuries can persist through daily activities like in work or at home.
